Doda, Sep 30: Youth Services & Sports District Doda today organised the Inter-Division UT-Level Taekwondo Championship at the Indoor Stadium, Doda, bringing together promising Taekwondo athletes from across Jammu & Kashmir for a high-level competitive sporting event.

The championship was organised in accordance with the Activity Calendar issued by the Directorate of Youth Services & Sports, J&K, and was allotted to District Doda as a UT-level sporting event, further strengthening the district’s role as a venue for major sporting competitions.
The championship is being conducted under the directions of the Director General, Youth Services & Sports, J&K, Smt. Anuradha Gupta, IAS, and under the supervision of DYSSO Doda, Sh. Ashok Kumar.
Chief Education Officer Doda, Sh. Bhushan Kumar Pathak, along with DYSSO Doda, Sh. Ashok Kumar, formally declared the championship open. Addressing the participating athletes, the dignitaries encouraged them to compete with discipline, determination and true sporting spirit, while extending their best wishes for the championship.
The Indoor Stadium witnessed an energetic display of power, precision, speed and sporting excellence as athletes competed with determination to make their mark and advance towards the national stage.
The successful conduct of the championship reflects the continued commitment of Youth Services & Sports District Doda towards promoting sporting excellence, identifying emerging talent and providing meaningful competitive opportunities to young athletes across Jammu & Kashmir.
