Shillong, July 5: Director General of Assam Rifles, Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, along with all ranks of the force, on Sunday paid solemn tribute to the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on July 5.

In a message of remembrance, the Assam Rifles honoured the courage, dedication and selfless service of the fallen personnel, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation's sovereignty and security under the most challenging circumstances.
