
Chieswema, , June 22: The Assam Rifles organised a farewell and felicitation ceremony for the IV Batch of the NIEDO Centre, Chieswema, and the first batch of the NIEDO Centre, Mokokchung, at Chieswema Garrison.
The event was graced by Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General Assam Rifles, who congratulated the students on successfully completing their academic and developmental training programme.
Addressing the gathering, the DGAR encouraged the students to pursue excellence through education, discipline, and strong character building, stressing the importance of youth empowerment in nation-building.
Students were felicitated with certificates for their achievement, followed by interactive sessions and cultural performances that showcased the region’s rich heritage.
