Srinagar, Sep 25: Cyber X Strikers were crowned champions of the Greenlam Laminates BIG Premier League 2026 after defeating The Real Sultan Sumerbugh by 99 runs in a thrilling title clash at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar. The Grand Finale was witnessed by Puneet Sharma, Chief Revenue Officer, Greenlam Industries Ltd., as the Chief Guest, while Ajay Singh JKAS, Chief Accounts Officer, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Government of J&K, attended as the Special Guest.

The Real Sultan Sumerbugh won the toss and elected to field first, inviting Cyber X Strikers to set the target. Cyber X Strikers produced a powerful batting display, posting an imposing 265/5 in 20 overs.
Chasing 266 for victory, The Real Sultan Sumer Sumerbugh fought hard but were eventually bowled out for 166 runs, handing Cyber X Strikers a comprehensive 99-run victory and the championship title. Hinan Malik emerged as the lone warrior for The Real Sultan Sumerbugh, standing tall amid the challenging chase with a superb 80 runs off just 37 balls. His aggressive knock provided a spark to the innings and kept the contest alive despite the mounting required run rate.
Siddharth Mhatre was declared Player of the Final for his outstanding batting performance. He remained unbeaten on 83 runs, playing a crucial role in helping Cyber X Strikers post a formidable total in the title clash.
Among the individual awards, Amir Aziz was named the Best Bowler of the Greenlam Laminates BIG Premier League 2026 for his impressive bowling performances throughout the tournament. Tajamul Baba was declared the Best Batter, while Asif Rasool was named Player of the Tournament for his consistent contribution throughout the competition.
