Ganderbal, July 30: Department of Management Studies (DMS), Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir), organised an inspiring extension lecture on "Teamwork" by Prof. K. S. Chandrasekhar Nair, Vice Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu, for the students of MBA, BBA, and MBA (Tourism Studies) at the Green Campus here Wednesday .

Drawing upon his rich academic and administrative experience, Prof. Nair emphasised that teamwork is the cornerstone of organisational excellence, innovation, and sustainable success. He urged students to cultivate a spirit of collaboration, mutual respect, effective communication, and shared leadership to excel in their careers. Prof. Nair highlighted that organisations across the globe increasingly seek professionals who can work effectively in diverse teams, resolve conflicts constructively, and contribute towards achieving common organisational goals. He encouraged the students to embrace teamwork not merely as a managerial concept but as a lifelong value that fosters trust, creativity, resilience, and collective growth. The lecture was followed by an interactive session during which the participants actively engaged with the speaker.
The lecture was organised under the guidance of Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Head, Deptt of Management Studies, as part of the Department's ongoing commitment to provide students with opportunities to interact with eminent academicians and thought leaders. Faculty members including Dr. Mir Insha Farooq, Sr Asst Prof, Dr. Ashiq Hussain Najar, Sr Asst Prof, and Dr. Sammaiah Buhukya, Asst Prof. were among others present.
