February 06, 2026 | BK News Service

Bengaluru, Feb 5: The Cricket Crazy League (CCL) 2026 is set to begin on Friday, February 6, and will conclude on Sunday, February 8, with 33 matches to be played across three days in Bengaluru.

A total of 12 teams will compete across three venues—Samprasiddhi Sports Estadio and Kashish Cricket Ground (A & B). The seven returning teams are defending champions Rebel Knights Bengaluru, Bangalore Challengers, CMO Pune United, Memon Cricket Club, Mysore Royals, Nilgiri Tigers, and Royal Strikers Kochi. They are joined by five new franchises: Enjoy 11, Finesse Titans Bangalore, Kochi Strikers, Memon Dominators, and Memons United.
Rebel Knights Bengaluru are the most successful side in CCL history, having won four titles in six seasons. Black Devils XI and Skylark CC 11 have claimed one title each.
In last year’s final, Rebel Knights Bengaluru defeated Memon Cricket Club by eight wickets. Captain Zeeshan Tahar starred with the ball, taking two key wickets to restrict MCC to 63/8, before Naveed Sait and Asrar Sait sealed the chase inside five overs.
Zeeshan Tahar remains one of the league’s standout performers, with 25 wickets to his name. He was Player of the Tournament in Season 5 and has won the Best Bowler award in Seasons 1 and 6. Another player to watch is Asrar Sait, last season’s Player of the Tournament, who scored 190 runs at a strike rate of 237.5 and has won the Best Fielder award for three consecutive seasons.
The semi-finals and final will be held at Samprasiddhi Sports Estadio, which also hosted the inaugural Blind Women’s T20 World Cup last November.
