Srinagar, April 30: Burn Hall School pulled off a nail-biting victory against DPS Srinagar in the Under-14 inter-school cricket tournament आयोजित by the Amira Kadal Zone, winning the match by two wickets in a closely contested encounter.

After winning the toss, DPS Srinagar elected to bat first and posted a competitive total of 141/7 in their 20 overs. Their innings was marked by steady batting and sensible partnerships, setting up a challenging target for Burn Hall School.
In response, Burn Hall School displayed great composure under pressure. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, they kept the chase alive and eventually reached 144/8 in 19.2 overs, sealing the victory with four balls to spare.
The match remained evenly balanced throughout, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats. Samad emerged as the standout performer for Burn Hall School, earning the Man of the Match award for his brilliant knock of 46 runs off just 27 balls, which proved crucial in guiding his team to victory.
