Muzaffarpur, May 7: Marking the first anniversary of 'Operation Sindoor,' Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU) hosted a commemorative event where Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai honored the Indian security forces. Terming the mission a defining chapter of 'Valor and National Pride,' Prof. Rai stated the operation was more than a military maneuver; it was a masterclass in India's inter-service synergy and indigenous technological capability. Reflecting on the May 7, 2025 operation, he remarked that it serves as a clear example of India’s assertive and self-reliant defense posture.

VC Prof. Rai highlighted the seamless coordination between military wings, noting that precision strikes by the Air Force, the Navy’s strategic blockade, and the Army's firm resolve created an impenetrable security shield. He emphasized the technological sovereignty achieved through home-grown weaponry and advanced data-link systems, asserting that India has demonstrated its defense self-reliance by overcoming tactical challenges through local innovation. Prof. Rai pointed out that this movement toward indigenous hardware is a vital step in securing India's future against evolving digital and physical threats.
In a call to the youth, Prof. Rai urged students to adopt military discipline and the spirit of innovation in their academic pursuits. He maintained that the primary lesson of Operation Sindoor is that strategic preparedness is the only true guarantee of lasting peace. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Proctor Prof. R.K. Chaudhary, Prof. Rajnish Gupta, Dr. Amar Bahadur Shukla, and Dr. Navin Kumar, who joined in honoring the nation's strategic achievements.
