Beyond the Unseen

Human brains are one of the most fascinating and mind-blowing things in this world. The most wonderful part about the human brain is that it has no real limit. The more we use it, the sharper it becomes. Our brain is what I call the most complex machine in existence

We often limit our perception towards what we can observe through our sense organs; however, both modern quantum physics and ancient spiritual wisdom somehow prove it wrong, and reality exists far beyond that. Now, to understand how little we see: human vision is limited to VIBGYOR in the electromagnetic spectrum — V: violet; I: indigo; B: blue; G: green; Y: yellow; O: orange; R: red — which surprisingly represents less than 1% of the total reality surrounding us. Right now, our body is being passed through by WiFi signals, radio waves, ultraviolet rays, and infrared heat. And they do exist regardless of not being visible to us. And I believe perhaps, the jins (unseen beings) also lie beyond violet and red but may have the capability of changing this range, hence leading them to being able to shape-shift. And maybe that is why they’re known as (tasrub~ DASROUP {10 forms}) in Kashmir. In Islam, the unseen is known as AL-GHAYB, which science perhaps reminds us of by revealing that 95% of the universe is made up of something called dark matter or dark energy. They are the substances that hold galaxies together but cannot be seen or measured by what we currently have. We are basically living in a small bubble of seen which is floating in the huge ocean of unseen. We, the humans in Islam, are referred to as Ashrafal Makhlokaat (best of all creations) regardless of the fact that God made angels so perfect that they never do a single mistake in their lives. Perhaps it’s because we were blessed with a brain and free will.
Human brains are one of the most fascinating and mind-blowing things in this world. The most wonderful part about the human brain is that it has no real limit. The more we use it, the sharper it becomes. Our brain is what I call the most complex machine in existence. And it shapes our daily lives. Whatever we read, listen to, watch, every conversation we have — positive or negative — is affecting our subconscious mind, which is programming our future. Our external world is a reflection of our internal world .Neuroscience perhaps also suggests that human brains never truly experience reality directly. What we call “reality” is actually the brain interpreting electrical signals coming from our surroundings. In a way, every human being is living inside a neurological version of reality created within their own mind .Everything we are, or ever will be, is the result of what’s going inside our mind. And we can dramatically change the outer realities of our lives by changing our inner attitudes of mind. ~ William James. And as the law of correspondence says, “our outer world will always correspond with our inner world.”
Today, we often use the word vibes. It’s not just a normal word that we Gen Z use, but it truly has a meaning. Vibe is basically rooted in biophysics. Our emotions are measurable brain waves. And perhaps through quantum entanglement, these frequencies may stay inside us; they ripple out in our surroundings. That’s how we get the vibe from someone, which most of the time turns out to be true .In the world of quantum mechanics, the observer effect shows that the act of looking at a particle actually changes its behaviour. And I believe this is perhaps philosophically equivalent to NIYYAH (intention). So when we make a dua to Allah, we are focusing our consciousness on a specific outcome while knowing we’re in a field of infinite possibilities. And just like our minds, we have souls too. Nowadays, (beskooni) is pretty common. And I believe that’s because our soul is really weak and tired and probably sick. Likewise our body — we eat, we drink, we breathe, we shower, we clean ourselves — the soul equally needs that, but by praying, meditating, and doing good deeds. And what makes our soul sick is hasad (envy), gheebat (backbiting), and takkabur (arrogance).Maybe the biggest limitation of humans is not that we can’t see everything, but that we think only what’s visible is real. Science is slowly discovering how huge and mysterious this universe actually is, while spirituality has been reminding us for centuries that not everything real can be seen. Maybe the unseen was never meant to be fully understood by human eyes, but rather felt through consciousness, reflection, faith, and the soul itself.
