Guwahati, Sep 30 : Jammu and Kashmir pacer Auqib Nabi had a tough outing on his India ODI debut, going wicketless while conceding 84 runs against West Indies in Guwahati on Wednesday.

The right-arm pacer was handed his maiden ODI cap as India took on West Indies in the Guwahati ODI.
Nabi bowled nine overs and returned with figures of 0 for 84 at an economy of 9.33, failing to pick up a wicket in his debut spell. He however pulled things back slightly with a disciplined final over.
West Indies, batting first, piled up a mammoth 405 for 7 in 50 overs, setting India a stiff target of 406 runs.
The debut marks a major milestone for the J&K pacer, who became one of the few cricketers from Jammu and Kashmir to represent India at the international level.
Despite an expensive outing, Nabi will look to take positives from the experience as he begins his international journey.
