
Churachandpur , July 17: Assam Rifles successfully conducted a month-long Pre-Recruitment Training Programme for Agniveer aspirants in Churachandpur district, reaffirming its commitment to empowering local youth through skill development and career guidance.
Held from May 1 to May 31, 2026, the programme was designed to prepare aspiring candidates for recruitment into the Indian Armed Forces by enhancing their physical fitness, knowledge, aptitude, discipline and overall military readiness.
A total of 57 aspirants from Churachandpur and adjoining villages participated in the structured training programme, which focused on improving their chances of qualifying for the Agniveer recruitment process.
The comprehensive training included physical conditioning, written examination preparation, personality development, motivation sessions and guidance on the recruitment procedure. Participants were also familiarised with the values of discipline, teamwork, leadership and commitment expected of members of the Armed Forces.
Army personnel mentored the aspirants throughout the programme, encouraging them to remain focused, work hard and pursue careers dedicated to national service.
