
Dima Hasao, OCT 7: Assam Rifles visited the Home for Orphan and Destitute Children at Hadingma in Dima Hasao on October 6 as part of Daan Utsav – The Joy of Giving Week, reaffirming its commitment to community welfare and supporting children in need.
During the visit, Assam Rifles personnel distributed sports equipment and essential provisions among the children. The initiative was aimed at encouraging healthy recreation while extending support to the children and the institution.
The personnel also interacted with the children, encouraged them to pursue their educational goals and motivated them to remain focused on learning and personal development. The interaction provided an opportunity for the children to engage with the personnel in a friendly and supportive environment.
Later, the personnel and children shared a meal together, reinforcing the spirit of care, compassion and togetherness associated with Daan Utsav.
