Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 8: The AssamRifles under SpearCorps successfully organized a National Integration Tour as part of #OperationSadbhavana, aimed at promoting cultural awareness, national unity, and interaction between security forces and civil authorities.

The delegation, comprising officers and personnel, had the opportunity to meet Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Hon’ble Governor of Kerala. The interaction allowed the troops to engage in discussions about regional development, cultural heritage, and the role of security forces in fostering peace and harmony in diverse parts of India.
During the tour, the team visited several prominent cultural and scientific landmarks in Thiruvananthapuram, including the Napier Museum, the Kerala State Zoo, and the Sri Chitra Art Gallery. These visits provided the participants with insight into Kerala’s rich history, art, and biodiversity, reinforcing the importance of preserving India’s cultural legacy.
The tour also included a visit to the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, where the delegation learned about India’s space research and technological advancements. The visit aimed to inspire officers and personnel by highlighting India’s achievements in science and technology and encouraging them to contribute positively to nation-building.
Through this initiative, the Assam Rifles not only strengthened bonds between its personnel and local communities but also fostered a sense of national integration and awareness about the diverse cultural and scientific heritage of India.
