
Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 8: The AssamRifles under SpearCorps successfully organized a National Integration Tour as part of #OperationSadbhavana, aimed at promoting cultural awareness, national unity, and interaction between security forces and civil authorities.
The delegation, comprising officers and personnel, had the opportunity to meet Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Hon’ble Governor of Kerala. The interaction allowed the troops to engage in discussions about regional development, cultural heritage, and the role of security forces in fostering peace and harmony in diverse parts of India.
During the tour, the team visited several prominent cultural and scientific landmarks in Thiruvananthapuram, including the Napier Museum, the Kerala State Zoo, and the Sri Chitra Art Gallery. These visits provided the participants with insight into Kerala’s rich history, art, and biodiversity, reinforcing the importance of preserving India’s cultural legacy.
