Kohima, Sep 25: Assam Rifles observed Hindi Pakhwada at Kohima Garrison on September 24, marking Hindi Diwas with a series of competitions aimed at promoting awareness and wider use of Rajbhasha Hindi among its personnel.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation by troops, who took part in various competitions including Hindi Tippan Alekhan, Bhashan, Kavita, Typing and Nibandh. The activities provided personnel an opportunity to demonstrate their command of Hindi while also encouraging creativity and effective expression.
The competitions covered different aspects of language use, from written communication and essay writing to public speaking, poetry and typing. The initiative helped create greater interest in Hindi and encouraged personnel to incorporate the language more effectively into their official and interpersonal communication.
The observance also highlighted the importance of linguistic awareness and effective communication in strengthening coordination among personnel from diverse regions and linguistic backgrounds.
Through Hindi Pakhwada, Assam Rifles sought to encourage the continued promotion and use of Rajbhasha Hindi while fostering a spirit of linguistic unity and camaraderie among its ranks.
