
Kakching, Manipur, Feb 7: The Assam Rifles, under the Spear Corps, flagged off a 15-day National Integration Tour from Kakching district on February 7, 2026. The initiative aims to foster national unity, cultural awareness, and developmental understanding among civil society representatives from Manipur.
A total of 29 participants from Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Moirang, Pallel, and nearby areas are taking part in the tour, accompanied by Assam Rifles personnel. The group will visit key cities including Ahmedabad, Delhi, Shillong, and Dimapur over the course of the 15-day journey.
During the tour, participants will explore historic landmarks, meet national leaders, and engage in interactive sessions to gain insights into India’s cultural diversity, democratic processes, and development initiatives. The program is designed to strengthen participants’ sense of national identity and encourage active engagement in social and civic activities within their communities.
