Assam Rifles inspire youth at Tizit outreach prog

Kohima, April 13: Assam Rifles under Spear Corps conducted an outreach initiative titled “A Day with Company Commander” at Tizit in Mon, Nagaland, aimed at inspiring young students to pursue larger goals and consider careers in national service.

The programme was designed to give budding minds a close look at the life, discipline, and responsibilities of armed forces personnel. During the interaction, the Company Commander engaged with students and shared insights into leadership, teamwork, and the importance of dedication in serving the nation.
Students were encouraged to dream big, stay focused on their education, and develop qualities such as discipline, resilience, and integrity. The session also highlighted the role of the armed forces in maintaining peace and security in the region, particularly in remote and sensitive areas.
The interactive format allowed students to ask questions about military life, training, and career opportunities in the armed forces. The initiative was well received by participants and is part of ongoing efforts by Assam Rifles to strengthen community engagement and motivate youth in border and remote areas.
