Aizawl, July 20: The Assam Rifles paid solemn tribute to Rifleman (Late) R. Raja Sajeev during a wreath-laying ceremony held at Aizawl, Mizoram, on July 19, honouring his unwavering dedication, courage and selfless service to the nation.

The ceremony was attended by senior officers, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and personnel of the Force, who gathered to pay their final respects to the fallen soldier. Floral wreaths were laid as a mark of honour and gratitude for his exemplary service and supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
The atmosphere remained sombre as officers and troops observed solemn military traditions, remembering Rifleman Raja Sajeev's commitment, professionalism and devotion to duty. His service was described as a reflection of the finest values and traditions upheld by the Assam Rifles.
