Assam Rifles felicitates TA Naga Rally qualifiers

Kohima, May 20: Assam Rifles felicitated 14 aspirants who successfully cleared the 164 Territorial Army (TA) Naga Recruitment Rally after undergoing structured pre-recruitment training at Battalion Headquarters in Kohima.

A total of 26 candidates were enrolled in the training programme, which was designed to prepare youth for various stages of the recruitment process, including physical efficiency tests, written examinations, medical screening, and drill assessments.
Officials said the training was conducted in a disciplined and focused environment, with structured daily routines aimed at improving physical endurance, stamina, and overall fitness levels of the aspirants. Special emphasis was also laid on written test preparation, ensuring candidates were well-versed with exam patterns and required competencies.
In addition to physical and academic preparation, the programme also focused on personality development, discipline, and time management skills, helping candidates build confidence and adapt to the rigours of military recruitment standards.
Assam Rifles officials highlighted that such initiatives are part of their sustained efforts to empower local youth by providing them with guided training opportunities and improving their prospects for employment in the armed forces.
The successful candidates were congratulated during the felicitation ceremony and encouraged to continue their dedication and hard work in their future endeavours. Officials reiterated that the organisation remains committed to supporting youth from remote and border regions through similar capacity-building programmes.
