Itanagar, Mar 5: The Khonsa Battalion of Assam Rifles organized a humanitarian outreach programme on March 3, 2026, to provide hearing aids to beneficiaries from Tirap and Longding districts in Arunachal Pradesh. The event, held at Khonsa, aimed to support individuals with hearing impairments and improve their quality of life.

A total of 17 beneficiaries, carefully identified in coordination with local authorities, received hearing aids during the programme. The initiative ensured that aid reached those genuinely in need, reflecting a focused and organized approach by the Assam Rifles.
