Manipur, May 20: Assam Rifles under Spear Corps organised an awareness lecture and training session on Yoga at Mantripukhri and Keithelmanbi as part of the 100-day countdown to the International Day of Yoga 2026.

The programme saw participation of around 350 personnel, who were introduced to various yoga practices and their physical and mental health benefits.
Instructors highlighted the importance of yoga in improving flexibility, focus, stress management, and overall well-being, especially for personnel serving in demanding operational environments.
The initiative is part of a broader series of pre-event activities being conducted in the lead-up to the International Day of Yoga, aimed at promoting fitness, discipline, and holistic wellness among security forces.
