Imphal, Mar 5: In a heartwarming display of cultural celebration and community engagement, troops from the Assam Rifles and Dao Division under Spear Corps celebrated Holi with local communities in northeastern India. In Pallel, Kakching District, Manipur, the personnel joined hands with 90 Meira Paibis, the respected women’s social organizations, participating in the festival of colors and promoting unity and goodwill among the locals.

Simultaneously, in Hayuliang, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam Rifles personnel celebrated Holi with the students of Sunrise School, creating an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie. The interactions aimed to strengthen civil-military relations, encourage youth engagement, and reinforce the values of harmony and community bonding.
The initiative is part of Assam Rifles’ ongoing outreach efforts, which blend cultural celebrations with social engagement, fostering mutual trust and understanding between security forces and the people of the region.
