Kohima, Jan 30: The Assam Rifles inaugurated a dedicated recreational facility for students of the National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO) under the Patkai Super 30 programme at Jairampur, Arunachal Pradesh, on 28 January 2026. The facility was formally opened by the Commandant of the Jairampur Battalion in the presence of students and faculty members, symbolizing Assam Rifles’ continued commitment to holistic youth development in the region.

Designed specifically for academic aspirants preparing for competitive examinations such as NEET and JEE, the recreational facility offers a balanced environment for both study and physical activity. It features a variety of indoor and outdoor games, including Table Tennis, Carrom, Foosball, and Badminton, encouraging students to develop teamwork, strategic thinking, and physical fitness alongside their academic pursuits.
The inauguration reflects Assam Rifles’ broader initiative to support education and extracurricular development in northeastern India, providing students with resources and infrastructure that nurture talent, resilience, and overall well-being. Faculty members lauded the effort, noting that such facilities greatly enhance motivation and learning outcomes for the aspiring youth of the region.
