Kiphire, Sep 20: The Assam Rifles supported the Annual Sports Meet of El-Beth High School in Kiphire, Nagaland, held on September 19, promoting sports, teamwork and healthy living among students.

The Commandant of Assam Rifles, Kiphire Battalion, attended the event as Chief Guest and formally inaugurated the sports meet. Addressing the students, he encouraged them to participate in sporting activities with discipline, dedication and a spirit of teamwork.
He highlighted the importance of sports in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and helping young people develop qualities such as leadership, perseverance, confidence and camaraderie.
As part of the initiative, sports equipment was presented to the school to support students in pursuing various sporting activities. Candies were also distributed among the students during the event.
The sports meet provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their athletic abilities while promoting healthy competition and participation. The event also brought together students, teachers, parents and members of the school management committee.
The School Management Committee, staff, students and parents expressed their gratitude to the Assam Rifles for supporting the event and encouraging young people to participate in sports.
