Senapati, Sep 25: Assam Rifles distributed essential relief materials to 50 displaced villagers at Emesiiphro Community Hall in Senapati on September 24, extending assistance to families currently staying at the relief centre.

The relief materials included essential food supplies and daily-use items to support the immediate needs of the displaced population.
The beneficiaries had been evacuated from Tapon, Tapon Namsang, Makui and Thonglang villages and were currently taking shelter at the community hall. The assistance was aimed at providing basic necessities and helping ease the difficulties faced by the displaced families.
Assam Rifles personnel interacted with the villagers during the distribution and took note of their immediate requirements. The initiative also provided an opportunity for personnel to assess the needs of those staying at the relief centre.
Assam Rifles assured the displaced villagers of continued assistance and regular visits to the relief centre to monitor their requirements and extend support as needed.
The relief initiative reflects the security force’s continued engagement with communities in the region and its efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to people facing displacement and hardship.
