
Itanagar, June 18: : The Dao Division under Spear Corps of the Indian Army conducted an extensive training programme for ITBP Shaurya Commandos in Arunachal Pradesh, aimed at strengthening joint operational readiness and enhancing synergy between the two forces in high-altitude and challenging terrain.
The training exercise focused on improving combat preparedness through a structured module that included battle conditioning, fieldcraft, tactical drills, weapon handling, and mission-specific operational skills. Instructors from the Indian Army trained the personnel in real-world scenarios designed to simulate the demanding conditions often encountered along the border areas.
Officials said the programme was conducted with special emphasis on improving coordination, responsiveness, and tactical efficiency during joint operations. The training also aimed at familiarizing the Shaurya Commandos with advanced operational procedures and terrain-specific survival techniques essential for high-altitude deployments.
