Likabali, Oct 31: The Indian Army, under Spear Corps, organised a motivational lecture and weapon display at Likabali for students of Sainik School, East Siang, as part of its Project Navbharat initiative.
The programme aimed to inspire young minds, promote patriotism and familiarise students with the Indian Army's role in safeguarding the nation's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
During the event, students were given an opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the Army's functioning, equipment and professional responsibilities. A special weapon display offered them insights into military capabilities, while interactive sessions and motivational lectures highlighted the values of discipline, dedication, courage and leadership.
The students also attended special lectures and watched films showcasing India's premier defence academies, providing them with information about military training institutions and career opportunities in the armed forces.
As part of the programme, the students visited the station museum, where they gained an understanding of military history, traditions and the contributions of the armed forces towards national security.
Project Navbharat seeks to engage with young people through educational and motivational activities, encouraging them to develop a sense of national responsibility and commitment to public service.
The initiative also underscored the Indian Army's efforts to strengthen military-civil relations and connect with communities, particularly the youth, in the Northeast.
The programme concluded with a message of national unity, patriotism and leadership, encouraging students to become responsible citizens and contribute to the nation's progress.
