Army holds Company Commander’s day out in Arunachal

Hayuliang, Feb 7: The Dao Division under Spear Corps organized a Company Commander’s Day Out at Hayuliang, engaging local children in sports, motivational talks, and interactive activities aimed at building confidence, discipline, and a sense of national pride.

The event featured games, team-building exercises, and educational sessions designed to develop leadership qualities and resilience among the youth. Children also participated in quiz competitions and cultural activities, encouraging learning through fun and interaction.
Officers addressed the youngsters on values such as perseverance, teamwork, and civic responsibility, while also highlighting the importance of education and self-discipline. Parents and local community members attended the program, witnessing the Army’s efforts to positively influence the lives of children in remote areas.
The initiative underscores the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to community development, youth empowerment, and nation-building in frontier regions, strengthening civil-military ties and fostering awareness about national values among the next generation.
