
Imphal/Chandel/Thoubal, Apr 19: Assam Rifles under Spear Corps observed World Heritage Day with a series of community-focused initiatives across Manipur, combining civic engagement with heritage awareness activities.
As part of the observance, troops conducted a cleanliness drive and visual poster campaign at Sehlon in Chandel district, aiming to promote environmental responsibility and reinforce the importance of preserving cultural and natural heritage sites. Personnel and local participants worked together to clean public areas and spread awareness messages highlighting sustainable practices and heritage conservation.
In a parallel initiative, Assam Rifles organised an educational tour for students of Slopland Public School in Thoubal district.
