
Itanagar, June 1: Hon’ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lt Gen (Dr) K.T. Parnaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retd), today felicitated six students from remote border areas of the state for securing admission to Sainik School.
The Governor appreciated their achievement and encouraged them to pursue discipline, leadership, and academic excellence in their future careers. He said that students from remote and border regions possess immense potential and only need the right opportunities and guidance to excel at national-level institutions.
He also commended the efforts of the Spearhead Division under Spear Corps for its continued role in empowering youth through Operation Sadbhavana. The initiative has been focusing on educational support, skill development, and youth engagement programmes in far-flung and border areas.
Officials present on the occasion said that such efforts are helping bridge educational gaps and providing equal opportunities to students from underserved regions, enabling them to compete at national platforms.
The Governor reiterated that investing in youth from remote areas is key to building a stronger and more inclusive future for the state and the nation.
