Anantnag, Oct 5: On the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, observed as National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas), police in Anantnag organised series of sports and creative activities at DPL Anantnag.

As part of the celebrations, Chess, Carrom and Badminton tournaments were organised, providing participants an opportunity to showcase their sporting talent while promoting discipline, teamwork and a spirit of healthy competition.
A Drawing and Painting Competition was also organised at DPL Anantnag, in which participants expressed their creativity and ideas through art, with the theme of national unity and integrity.
These events aimed to promote the values of unity, discipline, sportsmanship and creativity, while strengthening the bond between the Police and the community.
Police reiterated its commitment to organising such initiatives that encourage youth participation, talent development and the spirit of national unity.
