Baramulla, May 17: The Trophy Unveiling Ceremony of the Alpha Hockey Inter School Tournament 2026 was held today, marking the official launch of the prestigious school-level hockey tournament being organized by Badal Hockey Club under the aegis of Hockey J&K and in association with the J&K Sports Council.

The tournament will feature participation from 32 schools across Kashmir and aims to identify, encourage, and nurture emerging hockey talent in the region while promoting a strong sporting culture among students.
The trophy was unveiled by Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, who attended the event as the Chief Guest.

The club emphasized that the tournament will serve as a valuable platform for young athletes to showcase their talent and pursue excellence in the sport.
