24 of 44 PSUs in J&K Are Loss-Making

Jammu, Feb 17: Out of 44 public sector undertakings in J&K, 24 are loss-making and four are non-functional, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary informed the Assembly. Ten PSUs are profitable, including J&K Bank and J&K State Power Development Corporation. Measures to revive sick PSUs, including infrastructure and manpower improvements, are under review.
