A lecture on “Geriatric care for senior citizens” was delivered by Dr. R.C. Bishariya, DIG(Medical) today during which he explained in details about the specific requirements for taking proper care of senior citizens. He also emphasized about various medical ailments which are commonly found in senior citizens. He also briefed ways to provide proper treatment and general care as well as importance of family support during the old age. As a disciplined citizen, one should respect and be affectionate towards old citizen in order to keep them fit and active. During the session, a large number of CRPF Jawan/personnel have attended this programme.
