JK reports 16 fresh positive cases

The Government today informed that 16 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) have been reported today; 09 from Jammu division and 07 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 479062.
Moreover, 21 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 06 from Jammu division and 15from Kashmir division.
Also, 4,986 doses of COVID Vaccines have been administered in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across Jammu and Kashmir to 2,45,60,887.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 479062 positive cases, 168 are Active Positive (51 in Jammu Division and 117 in Kashmir Division), 474109 have recovered and 4785 have died; 2352 in Jammu division and 2433in Kashmir division.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 05 cases, Baramulla reported 00 cases, Budgam 00 cases, Pulwama reported 00 cases, Kupwara reported 01 case, Anantnag reported 00 case, Bandipora reported 00 case, Ganderbal reported 00 cases, Kulgam reported 01 case and Shopian reported no fresh cases for today.
In Jammu division, Jammu reported 04 cases, Udhampur reported 01case, Rajouri reported 01 case, Doda reported 01 case and Kathua reported 02 cases while as no other district reported any fresh cases today.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No.104. In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24x7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
Further the bulletin also informs the public that for any kind of COVID-19 query, logon to www.covidrelief.jk.gov.in
