While entire Kashmiri community in J&K and around the world is celebrated this year’s mother language day with lot of enthuiasism and fervour as the Kashmiri language has attained the status of official language in J&K ,the Jammu and Kashmir Bank has shocked and surprised 8 million Kashmiri language speaking people of J & K by backing out Kashmiri language from its officially released poster on mother language day.
This is shocking ,surprising and looks like a conspiracy and attack on Kashmir’s cultural identity and completely against the official policy in this behalf .
Adbee Markaz Kamraz J&K is joined by hundreds of language organizations and activists and culturally conscious citizens in lodging strong protest against this condemnable attitude of those individuals in J&K Bank who have earned a bad name for this reputed organisation which we in J & K love and has previously been on front in promoting Kashmiri language and  culture. we impress upon the authorities either to mention Kashmiri language on the forehead of this poster or immediately remove it from their official wall with an apology for this irresponsible and discriminatory act.
