In a significant move towards nourishing young talent, Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Mohammad Ahsan Mir today inaugurates 2nd District Taekwodo championship at Delina Baramulla which witnessed overwhelming participation of students from different educational institutions.

Championship was organized by Baramulla Taekwondo Association in collaboration with sports council Baramulla wherein the best performing players can get the chance to perform at different higher levels.
After inaugurating the tournament, ADC stressed upon the Sports enthusiasts to adopt sports field for better career progression. He exhorted upon them to work with more zeal and dedication in this field besides terming sports activities vital for maintaining physical and mental well being. He reiterated that every effort shall be taken to upgrade sports infrastructure in the district so that appropriate platforms are provided for our youth to channelize their potential.
District Manager Sports Council Ab Majid Dar, President District Taekwodo Association Advocate Nelofar, among others were present on the occasion.
