Kangana's Take on India's Growth Under PM Modi

In the vast expanse of human knowledge, from quantum physics to the most intricate philosophies, there exists a thread that connects us to our ancient wisdom—the Upanishads and the Vedas. Kangana reminds us that this ancient lamp of India casts its light far and wide, illuminating the world through the ages

As the Guest at the conclave "How Prime Minister Narendra Modi Strengthened India's Relations with the Global World", on the occasion of 74th Birthday of Pm Narendra Modi, organized by the Centre for Narendra Modi Studies at the India International Centre, New Delhi. I had the pleasure of witnessing a great moment. Alongside the conclave, the CNMS also released the compiled book "Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Red Fort" by Kangana Ranaut.
Sitting close to Kangana Ranaut, I listened from the heart to one of India's most bold and fearless voices who speaks with great passion and clarity whether it’s about the film industry or the country's politics. Her words often stir debates, but beneath all of it, Kangana truly stands out as a proud Indian who wants the best for her nation. She has always admired Prime Minister Narendra Modi and often speaks about how his leadership has transformed Bharat. According to her, Modi Ji has worked hard to bring development, security, and a sense of pride to every Indian. She believes that under Modi's leadership, Bharat is moving toward becoming a global power, and she admires his vision for a self-reliant and strong nation. She always supports the Prime Minister’s policies, especially when it comes to nationalism and putting India first.
One of the key reasons Kangana praises Modi Ji is because she believes that Modi ji represents the common man. Like Modi, ji who rose from humble beginnings, Kangana also had to struggle to make her place in the film industry. This connection helps her relate to his journey and his fight for the country. Kangana often points out that Modi Ji is a leader who is genuinely committed to India's progress. Kangana has also been very vocal about her love for India’s culture, traditions, and heritage. She frequently talks about how important it is to preserve our rich history and values. This connects with her belief that Modi Ji, too, emphasizes the significance of India’s ancient wisdom, yoga, and spirituality.

In this moment, a fervent hope swells within us, the people of India—a hope tinged with enthusiasm and zeal that feels almost palpable. Kangana’s introspection prompts us to ponder: what truly constitutes our beloved Bharatvarsh ? This isn't merely a question of geography, of maps that ebb and flow like the tides of time. India, as she muses, transforms with every century; its contours may change, yet the essence of our identity remains unscathed. “What is the sense of India?” she asks, and her inquiry reverberates through our collective consciousness. Is India merely a patch of land, a mere assemblage of borders? No, Kangana insists. Beyond the shifting maps lies something far more profound—the unbroken spirit of a civilization that has endured through millennia. Our Sanatan culture, the wisdom imparted by ancient sages, and the teachings of our scriptures, we are reminded that this essence of India is an eternal flame—a lamp of knowledge illuminating our path. She invokes the sacred dialogue of Krishna and Arjun, a conversation that transcends time. In Kangana’s vision, India stands as a world guru, a hope of wisdom that stretches beyond its geographical confines. It’s in this intertwining of ancient teachings and modern pursuits—scientists inspired by the Gita, innovators drawing from our rich spiritual heritage—that we find our true identity. The legacy of Mahatma Gandhi, the insights of Swami Vivekananda, and the timeless verses of the Vedas shape our understanding of existence. They remind us that our spirituality is a guiding force propelling us forward into the modern world. Through her words, Kangana urges us to recognize that our true strength lies not just in the physical realm but in the profound knowledge we carry within us. This is the essence of India—an unyielding spirit that continues to inspire, to heal, and to guide us, reminding us of the depth of our culture and the boundless potential it holds.
In the vast expanse of human knowledge, from quantum physics to the most intricate philosophies, there exists a thread that connects us to our ancient wisdom—the Upanishads and the Vedas. Kangana reminds us that this ancient lamp of India casts its light far and wide, illuminating the world through the ages. It is a light that has guided great thinkers, revolutionaries, and visionaries. Take, for instance, the profound impact of Swami Vivekananda. In his time, amidst the struggles of a nation yearning for freedom, he unearthed the wisdom of the Gita, interpreting its teachings to resonate with the needs of a restless society. He was a student of his age, translating the rich tapestry of Karma Yoga, Janani Yoga, Raja Yoga, and Bhakti Yoga into the language of the modern world, weaving science into spirituality. His vision was not merely a reflection of his intellect but a spark that ignited the flame of nationalism—a fire that still flickers vibrantly in the hearts of many, from Neta Bose to our current Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. Kangana emphasizes that the emergence of a Yugpurusha—a great man of the era—is not just a solitary phenomenon. While such figures carry the weight of uplifting society, it is equally the responsibility of the society to rise in tandem with their leader. This mutual obligation forms a delicate dance of progress and purpose.
She asserts that a human being transcends mere flesh and bone; what truly defines us is our ideology, our beliefs, and the way we think. It is this inner landscape that shapes not just individual destinies but the collective fate of a nation. In this interconnected web of responsibility and inspiration, Kangana invites us to awaken to our own potential, to let the light of our shared history guide us as we navigate the complexities of the present.
Kangana said, “But if we talk about the Prime Minister, then Shri Narendra Modi is essential. Is this a trait of his personality? No matter how many difficulties he faced in his childhood, how much struggle he faced.” Her words invite us to consider the essence of resilience. What is it about Modi that stands out in a world often clouded by despair? “Many people went through poverty. Many people faced very big situations and circumstances.” Yet, he transformed each hardship into a stepping stone, a tool to shape his destiny. In a landscape where dreams are often stifled by reality, his were the simple aspirations of a boy who once sold tea on the roadside—“a tea seller on the road.” We often think that such misfortune could define one’s life, but Kangana urges us to see beyond that: “What was that special kind of destiny that was happening in him?” Here lies the question that echoes in our hearts: What alchemy allows a person to rise from the depths of adversity?
She continues, “The most special thing about his personality is his optimistic thinking.” This optimism is not mere naiveté; it is a fierce and unyielding belief in the potential for change. It inspires not only a vision for oneself but also ignites a collective hope that resonates through the fabric of our society. In Modi, we encounter a leader whose spirit defies the shackles of his past. He becomes a mirror reflecting the dreams of a nation, encouraging us to shed our limitations and embrace the promise of a brighter future.
When Narendra Modi ascended the helm of our nation in 2014, it was as if he discerned the heavy shroud of pessimism that cloaked our collective psyche. "The most negative point of this country at this time," he seemed to say, was a deep-seated despair, a resignation to mediocrity that had crept into the very fabric of our society. Modi's remedy? An impassioned rallying cry that echoed through every corner of India, from farmers to scientists, igniting a flame of optimism in a populace long dulled by stagnation. He proclaimed, "We can do it! We can show it!" This wasn’t mere rhetoric; it was a movement, a cleansing wave of self-belief that swept across the land. In his presence, it felt as though we were shedding the shackles of centuries of subjugation, moving toward a future brimming with potential. "Make in India," he urged, a call to arms that resonated with the spirit of a nation ready to reclaim its dignity. We began to see ourselves not as mere shadows of our history but as architects of a new narrative. The miraculous rise to becoming the third-largest economy, the ambitious ventures that took us to the moon—these were not mere statistics but the lifeblood of a revived spirit. And yet, behind this public persona lay a man shaped by profound personal trials. As a child, he bore witness to hardship; he saw his mother toil, washing clothes for others. Such experiences hardened his resolve but also cultivated a unique sensitivity towards those marginalized in society. When he took the reins of power, it was as if a savior had emerged, one who would dismantle the barriers of gender inequality, ushering in initiatives that would bring dignity to women—sanitary toilets, gas stoves, and financial independence through savings accounts. He understood the intricacies of societal neglect and responded with fervor, as if divinely ordained to uplift the downtrodden.
For Kangana, nationalism means standing up for the country and defending it against any harm. She believes that today’s youth need to be more aware of their responsibilities toward their nation. In her interviews, she often urges young people to become more patriotic and to work for the country’s betterment. She applauds Modi Ji’s efforts to instil a sense of national pride in every citizen. She often speaks in favor of the strong actions taken by Narendra Modi Ji to safeguard the country, whether it is against terrorism or external threats. She believes that Narendra Modi Ji’s firm stand on issues like national security has made India stronger on the global stage. For her, a strong leader like Modi ji is what the country needs to protect its borders and maintain peace.
